Adam Escobar

Adam co-founded Space Lab® in 2016, with the mission of advancing human space exploration through research and technology development.  Building upon an extensive career in the aerospace sector, Adam oversees science & engineering operations for all projects as Space Lab’s President and Principal Engineer.  Adam has developed numerous successful payloads and support systems for various spacecraft including small satellites, high altitude balloons, and sub-orbital rockets.  His areas of expertise include high data rate telemetry, RF systems and antennas, structures and deployment mechanisms, flow analysis, thermal analysis, vacuum systems, attitude determination, instrumentation, power systems, data processing, ground data systems, test support systems, and radiation hardened electronics.

Throughout his career, Adam has developed flight hardware for over a dozen missions without a single mechanical or electrical failure. Adam’s breadth and depth of engineering knowledge, his vast experience with building robust flight and ground hardware, and his commitment to space industry best practices allow him to successfully deliver innovative, high quality, and reliable technical products.
